DESTROY THE JEZEBEL SPIRIT WITH THE SWORD OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

The Jezebel spirit that attacks families is a usurping spirit of authority and a demonic spirit. It has been attacking families for a very long time. There is an assignment on the generations. Its root must be exposed and uprooted. Let the Blood of Jesus cover families as the enemy's tactics are fought in Jesus' name by the power of His Blood! Jesus Christ has given us all power and authority to trample serpents, cast out devils, heal the sick, and raise the dead and the same power that was in Jesus Christ is also in and at work in and through us through the power of the Holy Spirit.

The Blood of Jesus will expose the enemy's tactics, silence the voice of the devil and ward off all the forces of evil assigned to thwart identification of this stronghold upon families. The enemy knows that when two or more are gathered in the name of Jesus Christ, he must flee. The Blood of Jesus commands every hindering and interruptive and stalling spirit to be bound, gagged, even blinded and deafened against any communication and prayers that are being offered up on behalf of families. The Blood of Jesus Christ silences all evil spirits and renders them inoperative. Bound and gagged, you are ordered back to the pit of hell where you originated and sentenced to a lifetime of eternity there never to be released again. These things are declared in the name of Jesus Christ and by His blood shed on the cross of Calvary for our sins. The Blood of Jesus is against every assignment of the devil against families.

Families are in a spiritual battle against the Jezebel spirit but the Lord is their front and rear guard, covering and protecting them with His armor that He equips them with. Families can stand firm in this siege without fear of harm for the Lord is with them, as a shield and buckler surrounding them and protecting them. The blood of Jesus covers families and they take their rightful position as royalty - as heirs of the kingdom of God and take authority over ever hindrance and command the devil to bow - just as the Word of God says, every knee above the earth, upon the earth, and below the earth will bow to the name of the Lord Jesus Christ!

Lord Jesus Christ, You will release this prayer and time of yielding to Your strength over to families to receive faith, hope, and confidence that You are the Victor in each situation and You will move this mountain - this facade known as the Jezebel spirit. Just as the literal Jezebel was mocking the king, his servants pushed her out of the window of the palace and she tumbled and was destroyed and the dogs licked up her remains - even so You declare that same picture take place in the spirit over this demonic stronghold and generational curse that has had rights to torment families and You say by the power of Your Blood -

JEZEBEL SPIRIT, YOU ARE DEFEATED! WE CANCEL EACH AND EVERY ASSIGNMENT THAT HAS BEEN SENT, AND IS IN THE PROCESS OF BEING SENT. WE DEMOLISH, DESTROY AND CAUSE BACKFIRE ON THE ASSIGNMENTS AND SEND THEM BACK TO THE ORIGINATOR. WE TAKE A LASSO IN THE SPIRIT AND WRANGLE ALL OF THESE COHORTS TOGETHER AND BANISH THEM INTO OUTER DARKNESS AND PUT THE ANGELS OF HEAVEN AS GUARD OVER THE GATES THAT SHUT THEM OUT OF THIS HEMISPHERE FOR ALL OF ETERNITY. IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS CHRIST - THE NAME ABOVE EVERY NAME - BOTH NOW AND FOREVER MORE. THIS IS IN AGREEMENT WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT AND SEALED WITH THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST - THE SON OF THE EVER POWERFUL, LIVING GOD. AMEN.

Families, be at peace - the Lord is fighting this battle for us! Stand firm, stir up the faith the Lord has given us and know that He is for us and not against us. Our spirits are one with the Holy Spirit and nothing can interfere with that. "Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might." The Lord is continually confirming all of this. It is about taking up His armor. He desires to speak to us through His Word and He delights to confirm it, too. "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." - Ephesians 6:10-11. The enemy is doing everything possible in his power to stop families from communicating, praying and storming heaven's gates. The end of the story is - 'families win and he loses!'

Do not be afraid or discouraged of this mighty army, for the battle is not yours, but God's. Go out to face them bravely, and the Lord will be with you. Be calm and still, and you will not even have to fight this battle. Just take up your positions, stand your ground firmly and see the Lord’s great victory on your behalf. Watch the awesome deliverance the Lord will give you. He will vanquish all of your foes. - (Based on 2 Chronicles 20:15,16,17)

Families being attacked by the Jezebel spirit have to deal with the following questions. (1) How did you come to know that it is a Jezebel spirit so specifically? (2) What has been the identifier and confirmation of this? (3) Is this something that has been passed down through generations in your family? Do you know when and where it started? (4) What are the causes and effects of this spirit?

A hornet's nest in the spirit is being stirred as the Holy Spirit identifies this evil spirit of strife and discord as the Jezebel spirit. It has been operating against families for a very long time. The causes and effects are revealed in the signs and symptoms shown by the people possessed by these evil spirits. So it is clearly a generational curse, identified from a spiritual perspective. The Jezebel spirit has been around forever - interestingly enough, it was not identified or started with the literal Jezebel of the Bible but that it worked through her and the name was coined after her. It is a very controlling and manipulative spirit.

There are different levels of spiritual authority in the heavens, that is, in the demonic realm. Just look at Ephesians 6:12 - 'For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.' There is a definite hierarchy.

Michael, the archangel in the book of Daniel, had to come and fight the Prince of the kingdom of Persia so that the angel of the Lord could proceed on to Daniel. He had already withstood this Prince for twenty-one days when Michael came. I believe this is talking about the spirit realm and not a literal Prince of a kingdom. Some of the battles are dealt with in the heavenlies.

We can stand in the gap for others and petition their release, and the effects of the strongholds over their lives as well as our own. According to 1 Peter 2:9, you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a people for God's own possession. Stand firm in God's grace -- no matter the trial, no matter the suffering. Glory will follow. The only way to have victory is by believing and obeying God, no matter what you think, no matter how you feel. God's grace is there. Stand firm! Remember He said, "My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness" - (2 Corinthians 12:9).

As the Apostle Paul said, "Press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus" - (Philippians 4:14) And press on -- forgetting those things that are behind. It's done and when you confess as 1 John 1:9 says, it is under the blood. His will is the ONLY perfect will for all of us!!! "He will perfect that which concerns me." Psalms 138:8 - The LORD will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O LORD, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.

We declare this in the spirit over families and trust the Lord to open the doors that are shut and open the 'eyes of understanding' that may be blocked and that the enemy would no longer have his way of causing division, sadness, sorrow and grief upon families.

As the Jezebel spirit is a spirit of control, we must pray against it. Specifically, there are three spirits for us to bind and cast out of our own lives. We need to pray over and break off any word curses, voodoo curses, and witchcraft curses. All three of these operate under the spirit of control. We can break the Jezebel spirit's generational hold over our lives and any generations coming after us in our own blood line. As we do this, we will start to see the hope that is before us.

The principle of spiritual authority states that the husband who is the spiritual authority over his family can take the authority over all  of them with regard to these same spirits and shut them down and break their hold over his family, regardless of the Jezebel spirit's control because he is the spiritual authority and head over them. If the husband is unable to do spiritual warfare over his family for any reason, then the next person in authority can stand in the gap for the family.

We can take authority of any specific word curses that we are aware of and cancel their power by invoking the power and authority of the Blood of Jesus Christ over this curse and command its hold to be broken and destroyed over our lives and over the past generations, in the name of Jesus Christ. Families have the supernatural authority to bring every curse captive and to destroy its power by the Blood of Jesus Christ. We must then pray God's truth and blessing in its place and cover and fill that place with the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Speak blessing into our lives!

We must pray over our families to break the word curses off them. We can pray in agreement and support of them. There is great power in agreement. The powerful bond in our families, together with the undergirding and leading of the Holy Spirit, are a force to be reckoned with. We can stand in the gap for our families as we are trained in spiritual warfare. We must pray that the blinding spirits holding our families captive should be bound and blinded themselves, so that their eyes of understanding be opened and truth penetrates their mind.

The head of the family is the head in spiritual matters too. When this is not the case, the family can stand in the gap. When we tackle spiritual warfare in the spirit, we are susceptible to backlash of the enemy, who is unhappy at being exposed. Don't worry about backlash. God protects us from any backlash. God is our defender.

Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on the full armor of God to withstand the devil's schemes and to stand your ground firmly. Our struggle is against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Buckle on the belt of truth. Wear the breastplate of righteousness and the shoes of peace. Take up the helmet of salvation, the shield of faith and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, to extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one. - (Ephesians 6:10-17)

We wage war in the spiritual realm. In spiritual warfare, God helps us to identify the enemy and wage war against him, wielding the full armor of God. Put on the spiritual armor and fight aggressively with the enemy as the weapons of our warfare have divine power to destroy the enemy.

"For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ." - (2 Corinthians 10:3-5)

We stand defiantly against all satan's lies, deceptions, accusations and temptations. Put on the armor of God each day, which is Jesus Christ - (Romans 13:14). We face each day, fully clothed in the armor of God, prepared to march courageously into any spiritual battle, always ready to be an instrument of peace, boldly standing up against strongholds, quenching the fiery darts of the enemy. Do you need God's divine intervention when you are confronted by issues that you cannot handle? We have a very powerful God. No matter what we encounter, our God can handle it. The devil comes roaring at God's children to discourage, derail and destroy our lives.

"For we have no power to face this vast army that is attacking us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you.” - (2 Chronicle 20:10)

"Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours but God's." - (2 Chronicles 20:15)

"You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand  firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you, Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you." - (2 Chronicles 20:17)

The Christian's life is a battlefield for Christ. Heaven looks for people who will seek and do God's Will. Stand before the Lord and set your heart to seek His help. Humble yourself to seek His face. Resolve to inquire of the Lord. Realign yourself with God. Reaffirm His greatness. Recount His miracles. Focus on God's promises and not your problems. Face your challenges with God's help. Look to Jesus and you will live! The cross gives complete provision, an accomplished work. Don't look at the crisis. Look at your Creator! Claim His promises in the Word. Be faithful and fruitful.

Wait for the Holy Spirit. HE will surely come! "The Spirit of the Lord came upon Jahaziel." - (2 Chronicles 20:14) The Holy Spirit is our Comforter and Counselor. He will guide us to do God's Will. Our worth is in God. When the Holy Spirit speaks, deliverance follows. Speak God's Word by the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Stay in God's Word, be sensitive to His Spirit and receive a word from Him.

God promises that we will not have to fight the battle. God will fight it for us! Praise God for the victory He is going to give us. "Praise is the language of faith." When the people praised God, the Lord set ambushes to defeat the enemy. What an awesome victory!

SPIRITUAL-WARFARE-PRAYER

As the Jezebel spirit is a spirit of control, I pray against it.

There are three spirits for me to bind and cast out of my family.

I pray over and break off any word curses,

voodoo curses, and witchcraft curses.

All three operate under the spirit of control.

I break the Jezebel spirit's generational hold over my family

and any generations coming after us in our own blood line.

As I do this, I will start to see the hope that is before me. I stand in the gap for my family.

  I take authority of word curses and cancel their power

by invoking the power and authority of the

Blood of Jesus Christ over this curse

and command its hold to be broken

and destroyed over my family

and over the past generations,

in the name of Jesus Christ.

I have the supernatural authority to bring every curse captive

and to destroy its power by the Blood of Jesus Christ.

I pray God's truth and blessing in its place

with the anointing of the Holy Spirit.

I speak blessing into my family!

Authority in the Spirit for Spiritual Warfare

I take authority over every satanic and demonic force, according to Your promise in the Word, that whatever we bind on earth, shall be bound in Heaven. I bind the works of darkness, in the name of Jesus. I render them dismissed, defeated, and destroyed, in Jesus' name.

I join forces with you in the spirit to unseat every principality, every power, and every ruler of darkness assigned by Hell, presently seated in a high place over your life.

I use the sword of the Lord to execute and terminate every demonic spirit and satanic force oppressing you, in the name of Jesus. I slay every demon and cancel their assignment over your life, in the name of Jesus.

I call forth the fire of God to rain down upon every demonic agent sent from hell to frustrate the purpose of God for your Life. I declare victory over You and your family!
