The WRITING ON THE WALL refers to Chapter 5 of the Book of Daniel in the Bible
when King Belshazzar sees the words “Mene, Mene, Tekel, Upharsin”
written on a wall by a visible hand – the HAND OF GOD.
King Belshazzar summons Daniel to interpret the writing,
translated as “Numbered, ended, weighed, divided.”
